The head can be "worked" from side to side and the beak opens wide as if the parrot is talking to you.
Made with cotton material and lined with a soft filling to give the parrot a very robust look.
Has a magnificent multi coloured tail.


The hand puppet is entirely made from cotton material.
The happy face on twinkle star is hand embroidered.

As each hand puppet is hand made, each is unique.

Handmade and purchased from the fair trade organization, YWCA Craft Centre, Bangladesh. The YWCA Craft centres are located in the capital Dhaka, and also in Kalijong and Savar villages. About 450 ladies, many uneducated and previously destitute are employed by the YWCA. Benefits include a compulsory 10% savings programme, interest free loans and health and legal support.
