A wonderful multicultural educational resource which helps children learn about food eaten in different cultures. On the Indian Menu there is Mixed Vegetables, Chapati, Rice and Dal. The blue plate is secured to the red place mat with velcro. The food on the plate can be positioned as children and teachers choose. To Clarify the culture, Indian Food is embroidered on the top right of the place mat and the menu is embroidered on the left hand side. There is a pocket at the back of the place mat which holds the recipes for The Indian Food. The place mat is rubber covered with cotton material. The food is made from acrylic thread, cotton thread and cotton material. The filling is polyester.
