A charming eight ribboned Red and Purple fabric necklace with the sweet embellishment of a little tweety bird.
Kantha stitch adorns ribbons of the necklace. Light to wear and delightfully attractive.

Handmade and purchased from the fair trade organization, YWCA Craft Centre, Bangladesh. The YWCA Craft centres are located in the capital Dhaka, and also in Kalijong and Savar villages. About 450 ladies, many uneducated and previously destitute are employed by the YWCA. Benefits include a compulsory 10% savings programme, interest free loans and health and legal support.
